College Trainings

Live skits, performed at freshman orientation by student leaders, are becoming increasingly popular on college campuses. The challenge is in making sure that the scenes presented are relevant, educational, and entertaining. Going through the Empower Players© training helps to ensure that the sketches, developed by the students themselves, are pertinent, fun, and informative.

This intensive day and a half long workshop is designed to train actors and non-actors alike. Students learn the basics of: building a character, improvising short scenes, and effectively staging them. As they hone their performance skills students bond and become a team!
